Lush Review and COLLAB! :)

Lush Cosmetics Review

Hi guys, today my post is going to be a review on four of my products from Lush (although there are many!) If you haven't heard of it before, then where have you been! Lush is a company who produce bath and body products which have all natural ingredients and are freshly made. The products are all bath/shower related and range from bath bombs and bubble bars to shower gels and lip balms. You name it, they most likely have it! They use 100% recycled resources and encourage you to recycle again. Lush is against animal testing and 80% of their products are Vegan friendly. I have loved Lush for quite a long time now and was overjoyed when I received a Lush gift set for Christmas. All of the products featured in this post are only available in Lush at Christmas time and are limited edition, so you may have to wait until Christmas this year to get your hands on these! If you have ever received a gift set from Lush before, you will know that they come beautifully presented with bows, tags and amazing wrapping paper. Ideal if you aren't great at wrapping yourself!

Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar
The first product I'm reviewing is this little chap. The Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar. This product is made with orange flower and mandarin oil which makes him smell amazing! Bubble bars are quite self explanatory and are used to create bubbles in your bath. You crumble this under warm running water to create huge clouds of suds. Although I haven't used this exact bar yet I have previously and it really is amazing, I love it :)

Dashing Santa Bath Bomb.
The Dashing Santa Bath Bomb is a really cute way to get in the festive spirit. This mandarin smelling bath bomb smells really festive and once he's fizzed up in the bath, he leaves your skin feeling really soft. Just toss him in the water and watch him sparkle! Santa leaves your bath and orange/red colour and although he doesn't have a glittery or flower petal surprise he sure does last ages! Haha. This little bath bomb is a cheerful little chappy and I'd recommend him to people for this years Christmas period!

Butterbear.
This cutie is another bath bomb and is a festive version of 'Butterball' which is available all year round in Lush stores. Luxurious, hot baths are a great winter pastime which mostly everyone enjoys but the can leave your skin feeling rather dry. Butterbear consists of cocoa butter which is great for softening the skin. It smells heavenly, vanilla-scented and creamy. Butterball is personally my favorite Lush bath bomb and does not contain any animal products whatsoever. His little nose is coloured with cocoa powder and the little brown dots you see all over him are little specks of cocoa butter which melt in the bath once the bath bomb has fizzed up!

Christmas Hedgehog.
This is probably my least favourite in the gift set but is still definitely a great product! The hedgehog is a creamy little fella which once crumbled under warm water releases essential oils and soothes the skin. My one has lost his little blue nose somewhere in the process of walking upstairs to my bathroom! This little guy contains Fairtrade cocoa butter and makes your skin feel so soft with a hint of sparkle! This one turns your bath blue and shimmery and leaves your skin feeling beautiful ;)

This post is a collab with Alicia and she did a post on four Lush products aswell! It would be amazing if you could check her blog out as it is really detailed and she is a lovely girl!- http://www.thoughtsbyalix.blogspot.co.uk/

Day at the beach!

Day at the beach

Happy New Year guys! I hope you all had a fun and safe New Years Eve, it's 2015! So in this post I'm going to talk about my day out last week (last year!) when me and one of my friends, Megan took a stroll along the beach. It was a freezing cold day and there was hardly anyone else there. We sat on the sand and just listened to waves for 15 minutes straight, it's amazing how relaxing it can be! Haha. If your ever feeling, on edge, anxious, stressed out, any of these things, the beach is a great way to soothe it. It lets you take a moment to yourself, relaxes and relieves you. Here's some pictures of our day!

Footprints in the sand.
This wasn't planned!
After the beach we stopped off at a local cafe and got a hot chocolate. Oh my god, it was sooo good! I ordered a vanilla hot chocolate, (which was amazing), and Megan ordered a peppermint one, (which she says was pretty good as well!). I don't usually like marshmallows, but I got them in my hot chocolate and they were so good, haha. We sat in the cafe for a while warming up after our walk and drank up our hot chocolates.
Yummy!

Finished them off easily enough!

I hope you like this kind of post guys, it's okay if you don't though :) If you have any feedback feel free to leave it in the comments, it would be a great help! Be excited because I have something quite exciting planned for the next post ;) Thank you so much for taking your time to read this post guys, it really does mean the world <3 Please follow me on my social media pages down below and let me know you came from my blog if you do!
